Blasting to the top of local search with SEO
When we first audited the website, Mr Blastit had no search visibility for any commercial search terms. We aimed to rank the website for their core business of ‘pressure cleaning and sealing’.
It was also vital to keep locality at the forefront – Mr Blastit only operates in Perth, Mandurah and Pinjarra.
We wanted web queries to be pre-qualified where possible to make lead management easier for the already-busy client. To reduce the number of tyre kickers, we built a price estimate calculator.
Today, Mr Blastit now ranks #1 in Perth for multiple search terms including ‘pressure cleaning and sealing’, and ‘pressure cleaning and sealing perth’.

We built our strategy around the assumption (based on competitor analysis, search volumes, and keyword research) that our audience would be looking for specific terms associated with our client’s core business. We then matched this search intent with our content by tweaking the site navigation, and focused on building out the content on Mr Blastit’s website around the service offering.
From audience and keyword research, content ideation, and sourcing writers, to editing the content and performing on-page SEO, we worked away month-by-month to build the site up brick by brick.
This led to a very cohesive batch of content as the natural outcome of flowing from one topic to another, creating and editing intuitively linked pieces which we overlaid with best practice for SEO.
