Leveraging blog content to increase awareness and lead customers to purchase
Part of our strategy was to publish new blog content and revamp existing blog posts with the aim to convert sales and raise brand awareness.
For example, we capitalised on the growing trend of plant-based milks with an oat milk cold brew recipe. This post has drawn in hundreds of new users from organic search since it was published in February 2024.
We also revamped an older piece discussing the best coffee beans. This led to a 602% increase in engaged sessions and a significant increase in revenue from direct sales.
Adding content to key collections pages to increase relevance
From our research, we knew there was a ripe opportunity to improve existing website copy in order to increase search engine rankings for key terms such as ‘coffee beans’.
We continually tweaked the sales copy on the key collections pages such as the ‘coffee beans’ page. This helped improve search visibility and led to a 295% increase in organic search traffic, and a 250% increase in direct revenue.
Content promotion to earn high-quality backlinks to blog posts
Digital PR, though very time consuming, yielded us some great results for this campaign. We sourced opportunities to gain backlinks from quality websites to improve Will & Co’s site authority – and not through link farms or other dubious SEO ‘shortcuts’.
By responding to media calls from a freelance journalist and an interior design company, we secured backlinks from reputable websites and curated priceless exposure for the Will & Co HQ in Bondi Beach.
